The 5K course loops through the beautiful areas of Henderson and includes gently rolling hills.

Awards
The first place male and female in the 5K will receive $50.
All racers 14 and under will receive a participation medal.

Location and Driving Directions |
All races will start at the HISD football stadium located at Stadium Street and Ball Street in Henderson, TX.
From Kilgore:
Turn right on East Main. Travel west to downtown to the intersection of East and South Main Streets.
From Points South (Hwy 79/259):
Turn left on East Main. Travel west to downtown to the intersection of East and South Main Streets
From Hwy 64:
Exit right on Loop 571 South. Turn left on FM 13/ West Main Street. Travel east to downtown to the intersection of West and South Main Streets.

The Henderson Education Foundation was established in 1998 to create support for the academic programs of HISD. The foundation supports the following:
Student Scholarships
The Foundation awards multiple scholarships to graduating seniors honoring individuals and families. Graduating HISD seniors have been awarded approximately $1.5 million in scholarships to date.
Teacher Grants
The Foundation awards grants each year to teachers and staff for innovative educational programs and projects. To date, Henderson ISD teachers have received over $535,000 in grants.
Events
Each year, the Foundation sponsors the annual Tradition of Excellence Banquet, which honors the top 10% of the HHS graduating class and each student’s most influential teacher. Over 375 students have been honored during the past twenty years.
