Location and Driving Directions |
All races start at the Lions Football Stadium at Stadium and Ball Streets in Henderson, TX.
From Kilgore:
Turn west on E. Main. Turn south on S. Main. Turn right on Sunset Ave., and the stadium is located at the end of Sunset Ave.
From Points South (Hwy 79/259):
Turn left on Jacksonville Dr/Business 79. Turn Left on Sunset Ave., and the stadium is located at the end of Sunset Ave.
From Hwy 64:
Exit Loop 571 South. Turn left on FM 13/ West Main Street. Turn right on S. Evenside. Turn left on Richardson Dr. Turn right on Campus. The stadium is on the right.

The Henderson Education Foundation was established in 1998 to create support for the academic programs of HISD. The foundation supports the following:
Student Scholarships
The Foundation awards multiple scholarships to graduating seniors honoring individuals and families. Graduating HISD seniors have been awarded approximately $2.5 million in scholarships to date.
Teacher Grants
The Foundation awards grants each year to teachers and staff for innovative educational programs and projects. To date, Henderson ISD teachers have received over $550,000 in grants.
Events
Each year, the Foundation sponsors the annual Tradition of Excellence Banquet, which honors the top 10% of the HHS graduating class and each student’s most influential teacher. Over 400 students have been honored during the past twenty years.
