The Seattle Ronald McDonald House is excited to partner with Seafair on the Torchlight Run once again! This year we are asking race participants to help raise $100 each by creating a personalized fundraising webpage to ask their friends and family for support. These are much-needed funds that will go a long way in supporting the Seattle Ronald McDonald House and the more than 700 families who call it a home-away-from-home each year while their child receives medical treatment. Did you know that a $25 donation sponsors one night of housing for a family at the House?

As an added bonus, each runner who meets the $100 goal will be entered into a drawing to win exciting prizes and gift certificates to local businesses!



The Seafair Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization was established to create and build opportunities for the Miss Seafair Scholarship Program for Women, High School Ambassador Program, Holiday Cruise for the intellectually disabled, and 35 Seafair Sanctioned Community Events. As an extension of the Seafair Festival, the Foundation has given Seafair an additional avenue to direct resources toward making a greater impact on the community.

Not sure if you're ready for a 5k or 8k run? We'll help you get there. Purchase a 4-week Couch to 5k Training Plan and start running with others in an accessible forum. We'll start off with walk-run combinations and then, before you know it, we'll do all running and get up to a 5K. The program includes a full four-week training schedule (8 classes - two a week), seminars, technique coaching, motivation, and fun! After you purchase your training program you'll be able to choose from multiple dates between now and race day to take advantage of your training.
