You are invited to participate in the Cave Run Canoe & Kayak Races. All Races start and finish at Cave Run Corp of Engineers spillway picnic area, Hwy 826, Morehead, KY 40351

Course and Start Times |
Morning USCA Classes run is a 3 mile point to point downriver course traveling entirely downstream to the Cave Run Outdoor Center takeout.
The races will be held on the Licking River starting at the tailwater area of Cave Run Lake Dam. The Cave Run Dam controls the release from Cave Run Lake to the Licking River (LINKS) and the Corp. of Engineers has agreed to release 400 CFS for the race. At that level the river will be at a few feet deep with a few shallow ripples and a mild current.

Important Information |
Races run rain or shine but may be cancelled due to dangerous weather such as severe lighting etc.
All USCA rules & regulations will govern.
USCA requires one (1) safety whistle per boat and life preservers for all entrants.
