Beat the Burn 5K Run/Walk and Kid's Dash is sponsored by the Port of Seattle Fire Department, Local 1257 Firefighters and the Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation.
Come join the BEAT THE BURN 5K Run/Walk & Kids' Dash. Kicks off with a siren start and a firefighter send-off on Sunday, September 29th at 9:00 a.m. at the Alki Beach Statue of Liberty on the West Seattle waterfront. The 5K is a fast flat event open to all runners, walkers and family members of all ages.
Burns can leave a lifetime of scars, both emotionally and physically. Your support today helps provide a safe weeklong camp experience, fosters lasting friendships, while building a stronger self image for young children in a positive environment.
The 5K run represents the commitment of the Port of Seattle Fire Department/Local 1257 Firefighters and the Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation to make a difference in the lives of young burn survivors.
