The 4th annual Halloween Hot Chocolate Run races will again be held at Principal Park in Des Moines. The two races start and finish at Principal Park. The race courses are along the river. If you are still trying to set a PR for 2013 this course is flat and fast. Don't miss the Best runner premium in Des Moines.

This Event has been sold out every year! Don't be left out!

Time: 9:00 AM - Principal Park, Des Moines, IA

• Adult registration fee for women includes a super full zip royal blue, pocketed hoody fleece jacket. Men receive a light gray 1/4 zip fleece jacket with key packet - very cool! Registrants also receive Chocolate you can wash down with our famous piping hot Hot Chocolate!
  
• If sizes sell out, only available sizes will be listed.
  
• Baby stroller/joggers are welcome. Please start in back of the runners.
  
• Parking is available at Principal Park.

Pre-race pickup on Sunday is at Principal Park from 7:30 to 8:30.

Race numbers/chips and jackets can be picked up by registrant or 2nd party with confirmation.

Important Note:
If you are competing for an award, you must register before race day and be sure to have bib number and chip.

Awards:

• Top (3) overall male and female
  
• First (3) places in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59
  
• First (2) places in the following age groups: 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
  

Kid's Fun Run @ 10:00 for kids aged 4 to 10. The kids receive a finisher's ribbon, Hot Chocolate and Chocolate!

Kids Race:
Approx. 1/8 to 1/4 Mile Distance

Age Groups:
1. 4 & under accompanied by parent - 10:00 AM
2. 5 to 7 10:10 AM
3. 8 to 10 10:20 AM

Participants receive 1st Place Ribbon and a Treat.
