In-Person Registration & Packet Pick-Up Friday May 9, 2008 Packet pick-up and in-person registration will be available on Friday, May 9 from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at JJP Mortgage located at 106 Stephen Street, Suite 203, Lemont, IL 60439. Race Day Registration Saturday May 10, 2008 Race day packet pick-up and in-person registration will be available from 5:30 A.M. - 7:30 A.M. at the Lemont public parking lot on Canal Street and Lemont Street. The lot is located near the finish line, next to Seamus McGee's, directly north of the railroad tracks. * Race day registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Thank you.

Awards

The Lemont Quarryman Challenge will provide our unique, hand made "piece of the rock" awards in the 10 Mile and 5K races.

1st - 3rd Overall Male and Female

1st Overall Male and Female Masters (Age 40+)

1st Overall Lemont Resident Male and Female (10 Mile Only)

Top three (3) in the following Male & Female Age Groups:

0-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

Please note that even though the races are electronically timed, per USATF rules, awards will be given based on gun time (USATF Rule 245, Item # 3).

Prize Money & King of the Hill Competition for 10 Mile Event

10 Mile Race Prize Money

$150 1st Overall Male and Female
$100 2nd Overall Male and Female
$50 3rd Overall Male and Female

$150 for 1st Overall Masters Male and Female (Age 40+)

King of the Hill (10 Mile Only)

There will be three "King of the Hill" checkpoints on the 10 Mile Race course located at approximately Mile .6, Mile 1.5 and Mile 6. Awards for these checkpoints are as follows:

King of the Hill Checkpoint 1: $50 1st Male and Female to cross the checkpoint.

King of the Hill Checkpoint 2: $50 1st Male and Female to cross the checkpoint.

King of the Hill Checkpoint 3: $50 1st Male and Female to cross the checkpoint.

NOTE: Prize money and King of the Hill awards are only offered in the 10 mile event. Prize money and King of the Hill awards are not offered in the 5K event.

T-Shirts and Goodie Bags

Event T-Shirts (technical, moisture wicking fabric) are guaranteed to the first 500 registrants.

All participants will receive goodie bag with various items, coupons and certificates from Lemont area businesses and sports groups.

Post Race Party

The Quarryman Challenge includes separate award ceremonies for the 10 Mile and 5K events, music and a unique "Taste of Lemont" featuring food and beverages from a variety of Lemont restaurants.

Probhibitions

For the safety of our athletes, the following list of prohibitions will not be allowed on the course:

NO Strollers
NO Baby Joggers
NO In-Line Skates
NO Skateboards
NO Dogs or pets of any kind
