Bolt for the Heart - Thanksgiving Day Run - 3.33 miles

Sponsored by IU North Hospital and Marsh, the run/walk starts at the Carmel Palladium's Center Green at 8:45 a.m., with day-of registration and check in beginning at 7:30 a.m. Participants may register on line at www.boltfortheheart.com and may pick up their packets the day before the run (Wednesday 11/21) between 12 - 7 p.m. at the Runner's Forum in Carmel. Cost to participate in the event is $20 per runner before November 12, 2012 and $25 per runner after November 12, 2012 (add $12 for a long-sleeve running shirt). Participants who wish to receive a free screening cardiac echogram by Echoes for Athletes can donate an additional $50 to Bolt for the Heart.

Wednesday 11/21 from 12:00-7:00pm at Runners Forum in Carmel (620 Station Drive)
Thursday 11/22 from 7:30-8:30a at Center Green by the Palladium.

In person registration will be available at packet pick up.

Parking for the event is available in at the James Building (Tarkington Theater), the Mohawk Place Shopping Center and at the United Methodist Church on Rangeline Road.

Benefiting Heart Reach Carmel for the placement of life saving AED's (automated external defibrillators) in Central Indiana in an effort to save people who experience sudden cardiac arrest.

Bolt for the Heart is also helping raise one ton of food for a local food bank. Runners can bring non-perishable food items when they pick up their race packet at Runners Forum on Wednesday 11/21 noon - 7pm or they can drop it off at the registration tent on race morning.
