Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards. No duplicate awards given.

To encourage and support safe and healthy choices vital to the well-being of our youth, families and community.

REACH was formed in September of 1988 after the murder of a young undercover police officer by Midlothian High School students. A group of Midlothain citizens, with the help and support of other members of the community, the city, the school district and local law enforcement, believed that they could make a difference in the lives of students to prevent such tragedies from happening again.

REACH Council school-based counseling and prevention programs currently serve students in Ellis and Johnson counties. Our programs provide services aimed at teaching children essential life skills intended to reduce negative risk factors and to foster healthy per, family and community relationships. We are a 501 c (3) non-profit organization which depends upon grants, fundraising events and private contributions in order to continue to provide our services free of charge to the community
