Location |
Wildlife Prairie State Park is located on Taylor Road between Routes 116 and 8, ten miles west of Peoria, Exit 82.

Wildlife Prairie State Park, Taylor Road
Entry fee includes race entry, Tech t-shirt, admission to Wildlife Prairie State Park and a continental breakfast after the race. Children's Fun Run entry fee includes cotton t-shirt and ribbon.
T-shirts are not guaranteed for race-day registration.

Course |
The 4-MILE CROSS COUNTRY RUN trail challenges competitive runners with dirt/grassy hills and rough terrain.
The 2-MILE WALK non competitive walk is along grassy trails with small hills and through animal exhibits.
The CHILDREN'S FUN RUN will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 4-7 years old will run 1/4 mile through Merrill Woods. Children 8 years and older will run 1/2 mile through Merrill Woods & Helige Trail.
All participants will receive a special award and t-shirt.

9:15 AM: Children's Fun Run

Overall Female and male finishers on the 4-mile trail (antler trophy).
Top two female and male finishers in each division.
Walk
No overall walk awards.
Children's Fun Run
All children who participate in the race will receive a ribbon.

Post-Race Breakfast |
All race participants and volunteers are invited to a post-race breakfast sponsored by Heart of America Restaurants & Inns.
Awards will be announced at this time. Fruit and water will be available at the finish line.
