The Rabbit Run 5K - a 3.1 mile, largest ever, running Easter Egg Hunt

As flat and fast as it gets. The City of Irvine has turned the airfields of the Marine Corps El Toro Air field into a GREAT PARK. We are letting folks run, trot, or roll along a 3.1 mile course on the runways. This course will be scattered with thousands of surprise-filled eggs and Easter-themed prizes. Chose to race right through and win awards in age categories.

Families can bring strollers, bikes, and tricycles, but agree to use at own risk. Kids must have pads and helmets and will be lined up in the stroller, bicycle start section.

3 DEEP: 1-6, 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-over.

If the race is not the prize, grab a few eggs and goodies along the way…and linger your way through. You choose your course tactics. Race…Hunt…Jog…Stroll…Roll…or tricycle it.

Includes an event t-shirt, a souvenir picture with the Easter Bunny, the HUNT, and age division awards for the fastest runners. Water and fruit at the finish.

Race Day Registration will be available from 7-8:45 AM at Great Parks. $35 for adults; $22 for ages 13 and under.

Note: There is currently no physical address to the Great Park. Please do not rely on GPS, online maps, or directions other than those provided on this website.

Just north of the 5 Freeway. Off of Sand Canyon Ave west of the El Toro Y.

5 North
1. Exit Sand Canyon Ave and turn Right
2. Turn Left on Marine Way
3. Turn Left after the Guard Shack
4. Follow the road signs to Parking

5 South
1. Exit Sand Canyon Ave and turn Left
2. Turn Right on Marine Way
3. Turn Left after the Guard Shack
