Race Information |
The 7th annual Opening Doors run/walk will be held on Saturday April 14, 2012. This event is a fun way for individuals of all ages, families and teams to help homeless women and children in our community. The event takes place at Clarke University. Walkers will have the option to walk outdoors on the 5K course or enjoy the indoor track facilities in the Kehl Center. The 5K outdoor race will be officiated by MVRA (Mississippi Valley Running Association). The course will be mapped in the Clarke University area and medals will be given to the top three runners with the fastest times in each division.
- 5K Pre-Registrants who register by April 1 get a free t-shirt.
SCHEDULE
8:00 AM: Registration (Runners & Walkers)
8:30 AM: 1/2 Mile Outdoor Kids Fun Run
9:00 AM: 5K Race, Outdoor / Indoor Walk
10:00 AM: Award Medals (Runners)
Team & Individual Prizes (Walkers)

Contests include best costume, team with the most pledges, individual with the most pledges, and team with the most participants. Kids activities available until 10:00 AM.
