About the Event |
The Sportspectrum Tradition that will get everyone in the Christmas Spirit!! Our unique four loop course (3.41 miles) takes you through, past, and amongst tens of thousands of Christmas Lights lining the course, lots of Christmas decorations, more Christmas music, elves running amuck, and caroling groups.
Come out and join us for a HO HO HO good time. The first 600 participants to register will be guaranteed an official 2011 Downtown Christmas Run Long Sleeve T-shirt.

Awards |
Overall winners and runner-up male and female for the 3.4 mile run will receive a $50.00 and $25.00 gift certificates, respectively to Sportspectrum.
Overall winner, male and female, will receive special prizes.
Age group winner and runner-up will receive special prizes in the following age group categories: 17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59,60-64, & 65 - and up.
Kids: 1-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16

Under RRCA regulations, absolutely no baby joggers, strollers, bikes, skateboards, inline or roller skates will be allowed!

Saturday, December 10th from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday, December 11th from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Monday, December 12th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Tuesday, December 13th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm - at SPORTSPECTRUM.
Tuesday, December 13th from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm - at the race site: Downtown in front of the courthouse.

IPICO Chip Pick Up |
This race will be timed using IPICO Chips. There will be a $1 fee on top of the entry fee to be chip timed. If you want to be eligible for awards or have your time displayed online you must have a chip. It is a small round chip that attaches to your shoe and records your time as you start and finish. If you do not have a chip you will not get timed. Chip must be returned. You may pick up your IPICO Chip at the race site Tuesday night from 5:30 - 6:30. Please arrive early!!!!!

Costume Contest |
2 divisions: Adult and Kids.
After the winners are chosen from the adults and kids divisions there will be a dramatic pose off!! GREAT PRIZES!!
