The Thunder Rolls Adventure Race

Who:
High Profile Adventure Racing, LLC

What:
The 10th annual, 12 or 24 hour expedition style, unsupported adventure race.
Team of 2 or 3 will navigate using topo maps and compass while mountain biking, trekking, trail running, pack rafting coasteering, orienteering, canoeing, and over fixed ropes.

Where:
The race will start in Mt. Carroll, Illinois at YMCA Camp Benson. The race will be on an all new point to point course covering 50 to 100 miles in scenic Northern Illnois.

When:
August 25th, 2012

Format:
12 and 24 hour races with Coed Open, Masters (all over 40) and same gender divisions.

Entry Includes:
On site cabins and camping, pre-race meal, canoe rental, a North Face Fleece logo shirt, land use fees, custom maps, valuable schwag from our sponsors, prizes to the winners in each division and after race pizza and drink.
(Note: The Cabins and the pre-race meal are included in the price as a fund raiser for the camp.)

"The Thunder Rolls" is proud to be a Midwest Regional Qualifier for the USARA National Championship. The top four teams in the open division will qualify for the race. The winning team will receive a $400.00 cash sponsorship to the National Championship.
