New Balance Girls on the Run of Howard County 5k

The course will start and end at:

100% of race proceeds go directly to Girls on the Run of Howard County whose mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Registration Deadline:

• Girls on the Run participants for the Fall 2011 season are already enrolled.
  
• Please DO NOT register your daughter.
  
• All other runners must register prior to Friday, November, 11th to guarantee their size for a Girls on the Run 5k t-shirt.
  
• Runners must register prior to Saturday, November 19th to be guaranteed a race shirt.

If you are a community runner that has not been assigned to a GOTR participant for the Fall 2011 race and would like to become a buddy runner, please register and then contact Lisa Martin at wellnessevolution@hotmail.com

7:30 AM: Packet pick-up
8:15 AM: Warm-up
8:30 AM: 5k start
9:45 AM: Raffle drawing/Prizes

The New Balance Girls on the Run 5k is not officially timed; however, there will be a clock at the finish line for runners to check their times.

Weather Policy:

• Race officials may cancel, delay, or change the event in case of extreme weather or other conditions that may affect the safety and health of the participants.
  
• In the event of cancellation, refunds will not be issued. Your registration will be considered a donation.
  
• The race will be held rain or shine.
  
• No refunds of entry fees and no mailed confirmations of entry.
  

Prohibitions:
We are sorry but we do not allow strollers, bikes, dogs etc. on the course, only runners and walkers.
