The Pleasant Run Run is a 5 Mile Run,and 3 Mile Family Walk through the beautiful winding tree-lined streets of Historic Irvington. The Pleasant Run Run is part of the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival, a weekl ong Halloween celebration that is one of the longest running festivals in Indianapolis. The run takes place during the final day of the Halloween Festival and begins adjacent to a street festival full of food, rides, and entertainment for all ages. Proceeds from the Pleasant Run Run benefit the programs of the Historic Irvington Community Council, a 501c3 organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Irvington. All events start and finish near the intersection of East Washington Street and Audubon Rd. Parking is available behind the AT&T building @ 5747 E Washington St. Additional parking can be found on nearby side streets. (Please do not park along the course route - watch for no parking signs).

Note: Washington Street between Ritter Ave. and Audubon Rd. will be closed beginning at 6 am on race day. Participants should enter at the intersection of Arlington Ave. and East Washington Street. There will be a police officer on duty. Please identify yourself as a run participant. Please arrive early to allow yourself ample time to park.

8 AM - Registration at United Methodist Church
9:30 AM - Dual D Fun Run for Kids
10 AM - 5 Mile Run Start
10:15 AM - 3 Mile Family Walk
11:30 - Awards program

You may pick up your packet or register late at the United Methodist Church on Sat. Oct. 29th from 8:00 to 9:45am.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Irvington United Methodist Church. The awards ceremony will begin at 11:30am. Attractive awards will be presented to the top overall finisher in the 5 mile RUN. Additional age group awards will also be presented to the top finishers in all age groups.

The 5 Mile Run course will have two water stations - The 3 mile walk will have one. You must maintain a 12 minute per-mile-pace for the 5 mile run.
