The Take Steps for Kids 5k is the largest student-run 5k in St. Louis, finishing up the grand steps of scenic Washington University in St. Louis. Be a part of the tradition by running on our new and improved race course with a net elevation drop. All the proceeds from this professionally timed race go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. - Plaques and giveaways to the top five male and female 5k finishers (last year, each received a bike jersey valued at $70)
- Commemorative Awards to the top (3) male and female 5k winners in each age division:
Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 + - This event will be professionally timed.
