New Balance Girls on the Run 5K – Central Illinois

Join the Central Illinois community in celebrating the New Balance Girls on the Run5K - Central Illinois' inaugural 5K event. This special event is the official 5K for the spring Girls on the Run (GOTR) and Girls on Track (GOT) participants, and walkers and runners of all ages and abilities are invited to participate as well! The event will be held at Washington Park in Springfield, Illinois.

Fee includes a short-sleeve, colorful, commemorative Girls on the Run T-shirt, post-race food and drinks, official GOTR finisher's medal and family-friendly activities. A clock will be located at the finish line, but no awards will be given for this non-competitive event! Plenty of smiles and laughter will reward you as you run and/or walk an out and back course around scenic Washington Park. Early online registration is encouraged to guarantee a T-shirt. No transaction fees are passed on to registrants!

Please note that race day registrations will be accepted at Washington Park ($35).

No strollers or pets on race course. Only runners/walkers who registered may be on the course during the event.

8:45 AM: Pre-race festivities, including packet pickup, face painting, games, photos and more!
10:00 AM: Official race start
