Courses |
The certified 10-kilometer course will begin with the traditional start at 43rd & Donald (Spencer Butte Middle School), up the Donald Street hill to the first mile mark, followed by 1 1/4 miles downhill on Fox Hollow to Amazon Drive. The final four miles of the course are flat and fast to the finish at Skinner Butte Park. The course for the Fitness Walk follows the flat portion of the course, heading east on 43rd from the start and bypassing the Donald Street hill.

Packet Pick-Up |
Packet pick-up and in-person registration will be held at the
Hilton Hotel (6th & Willamette) on:
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 1, 2 & 3, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Monday, July 4, 6:00 - 7:30 AM at the start (43rd & Donald).
- There is no race day registration.
Team Competition |
- Teams in both the run and walk can have an unlimited number of members, with the first five finishers scoring in the run.
- Every member of a team must submit an individual entry form and be included on the team roster submitted by the team captain.
- The deadline for team registration is June 25.
- Check the website for a roster, team divisions and scoring details.
Unique Competition |
Special awards will be given to the King & Queen of The Uphill (first to the One Mile Mark), the King & Queen of the downhill (first to the corner of Fox Hollow & W. Amazon Dr.), & top male and female Youth (Under 20), Masters (40-59) and Seniors (60 & Over).
Shuttles |
- Before the race, shuttles will be available to take participants from the pickup area at 5th & Pearl (for runners) and 4th & Mill (for walkers) to the start.
- Shuttles will begin departing at 6:30 AM.
- Please allow time to park and catch the shuttle.
Awards |
- Prizes will be awarded to the first three male and female finishers overall and in each five-year age group in the 10K run.
- Special awards (garments and bouquets) will be presented to the winners of the unique competitions within the 10K run (see "Unique Competition" section).
- The top three teams in each division and category in the run and walk will receive awards.
- Random drawings for all 10K and Walk participants will also be held.
Oregon Track Club |
All profits from the 2011 AquafinaŽ Butte To Butte go to support the programs of the Oregon Track Club, including the summer all-comer meets for kids, promotional activities for the UO track teams, and maintenance of Pre's Trail. OTC is a non-profit organization composed of volunteers. Become a member at: OregonTrackClub.org.
