About the Race |
Come join the J.L. Long Middle School PTA representatives, students, staff and parents for the 14th Annual Long Run benefiting J.L. Long
Middle School. This community event is the only fundraiser for the PTA, and all proceeds go to the school.

The Route |
The Long Run winds its way through the beautiful, wooded neighborhood of Hollywood Heights in historic East Dallas. The Long Run features a One Mile Fun Run/Walk followed by the certified 5K Run. The Start/Finish and after race activities will be on the front lawn of the
school located at 6116 Reiger Avenue.
This event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field.

Race Day Schedule |
Registration & Packet Pick-Up: 5:00 p.m.
Fun Run/Walk Starts: 6:00 p.m.
5K Run Starts: 6:30 p.m.
Awards Ceremony immediately following race. Refreshments will be served.

Awards |
Medals will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in the following categories:10 and under, 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade,
15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, & 60+ and overall female and male.

ChronoTrack Timing |
Disposable timing tags will be used at this event. You
must wear a tag to be timed and eligible for awards.
Age group awards will be determined by tag time.
