Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon

Available at the following times and locations:

Friday, August 10, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm at the Buffalo Restaurant and Bar in Idaho Springs.
Saturday, August 11, 5:15 am - 6:15 am (race morning) at Idaho Springs Middle School.
Saturday, August 11, 6:00 am - 7:00 am (race morning) at the start lin in Georgetown

Participants whose entries are completed online or postmarked by August 1 can add $5 to have ChampionChip and race number mailed.

Available from July 31 - August 9 at the following locations:

Runner's Roost Denver, Runner's Roost Aurora, Runner's Roost Lakewood, Running Wild (formerly Runner's Roost Highland Ranch), Boulder Running Co. Littleton

Race Day Registration will be available for $35. Race day registratino is at Clear Creek Middle School from 5:15 AM to 6:15 AM, or at the start line in Georgetown from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

If you are planning to ride the bus from Idaho Springs to Georgetown, arrive early and expect traffic congestion. Buses will start running at 5:30 am. Board the bus at the Forest Service building next to the Middle School. The last bus will leave at 6:45 am. If you miss the bus, your alternative is to drive to Georgetown. Transportation is not provided back to Georgetown after the race. Warm-up clothing will be transported to the football field in Idaho Springs by 9:30 am. Bags are provided.

In Idaho Springs:
On streets adjacent to Clear Creek Football Field, downtown area, and at Clear Creek Middle School. Look for attendants when you exit I-70 at the Mt Evans Exit #240
In Georgetown:
Around Georgetown Lake, near the start. Look for attendants. If you arrive after 6:45 am, anticipate parking at least 1/2 mile from the start line. After 7am no one will be allowed to turn left down the service road to the start line, arrive early!

The course goes along the Frontage Road running parallel to, but away from I-70. Vehicular Traffic on the course is normally minimal. Be aware however, that the road is not closed. Runners must stay to the right side of the road. The course is at high elevation, beginning at 8500' and ending at 7500'.
