Theta 5K

Theta 5K - Presented by SMU Athletics benefitting Dallas CASA

Date: Saturday, September 25th, 2010

Location: Race to start in front of Moody Coliseum at Southern Methodist University, 6024 Airline Road, Dallas, TX

Parking: $5 on the day of the event in Binkley Garage and Moody Garage. Parking is free in other lots, depending on availability.

Time:
Race Day registration and PPU at 8:00 a.m.
One mile FunRun- 8:30 a.m.
5K Race- 9:00 a.m.

Price:
SMU Student- $20
Non-SMU Student- $25*

*Tickets to the TCU game on Friday Sept. 24th are included in the race packet for the first 300 participants, due to limited ticket supplies. For those unable to attend the game, tickets to an alternative SMU football game are available.

Benefits
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Dallas Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program, the national philanthropy of Kappa Alpha Theta since 1989. In an effort to fulfill its mission of exercising the widest influence for good, Theta continues to support CASA as it provides support for abused and neglected children entering the court system through court appointed volunteer advocates. Together with CASA, Kappa Alpha Theta wants to help make sure that every child's voice is heard.
