Event Description

According to the Centers for Disease Control, an estimated 1.2 million Americans are living with HIV/AIDS right now. Additionally, over 56,000 Americans are newly infected with HIV every year. For minority groups, the statistics are worse. Almost 70% of new infections are amongst African Americans and Hispanics. Now more than ever, you need to know your status. Get tested for HIV! Help us fight the HIV epidemic in your community.

Before, during, and after the 5K, we will offer FREE, rapid HIV testing provided by AIDS Arms, Inc. You can get your results in 30 minutes. There will be additional prizes and giveaways for getting and HIV tested, and better prizes if you run and get tested!

Awards

1st Overall & Masters finishers in both genders will receive awards. Top 3 age group finishers in each gender will be awarded starting with 14 and under, Then in 5 year groups up to 70+.
