Invitational Division |
Criteria for Entry into the Sportspectrum River Cities Triathlon Invitational Division (applicant must meet at least one of the following criteria):
- 1) Overall or Overall Runner-Up finish in the last three years in a USAT sanctioned triathlon.
- 2) Top (2) in your age group over the last three years in a USAT sanctioned triathlon.
- Entry into the Invitational Division removes the competitor from being eligible for age group awards.
- Participants in the Invitational Division will compete for overall awards only.
- Entry fee for the Invitational Division will be the same as all other age group divisions.
You are not eligible for RCT30 age group awards, but you are eligible for USAT age group points.

Awards |
Overall Male & Female:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th will receive special awards & Oakley Sunglasses.
Top Age Groups Male & Female:
10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+**
**Note:
Age Groups will receive awards varying 1-5 deep depending on the number of entries in each age group. Example: (3) entries in Male 35-39 Awards will go (1) deep.
Louisiana State Champion:
Top 2 male & female residing in LA will receive special awards.
Clydesdale Division:
In each age group (39 & under) & (40 & up).
Athena Division:
Open Division.

USAT Sanctioned Event |
- All participants must be USAT licensed competitors.
- All USAT rules will be enforced at River Cities Triathlon.
- USAT numbers must be shown at packet pick-up.
- One day or Annual licenses may be purchased at Sportspectrum when you pick-up your packet.
- Annual license - $39.00 - One day license - $10.00.
- You may go to usatriathlon.org/ and purchase your annual license.

Packet Pick-Up |
There will be no race day packet pick-up.
Packet Pickup will begin Friday, July 30, 2010 from 12 noon - 6:00 PM.
All local and surrounding area participants are encouraged to pick up packets on this day.
Your wait can be extremely long on Saturday.
Packet Pickup on Saturday, July 31st will be open at 11:00 am & close at 5:00 pm. All pre-registered participants must be pick up packets by 5:00 pm on Saturday. This means you need to be at packet pickup by 4:30 pm. At 5:30 pm athletes who are either on the waiting list or who would like to participate are able to purchase all remaining spots into Sportspectrum River Cities Triathlon. Packets will be available first to those on the waiting list.
Do not show up after 5:00 PM on Saturday, July 31st, your packet will have been sold!

6:30 am - Transition check-in and Body Marking for #'s
8:00 am - SHARP - Race begins. 11 wave starts - 5 min. intervals
8:00 am - Wave 1 - Invitational Wave
8:04 am - Wave 2
8:08 am - Wave 3
8:12 am - Wave 4
8:16 am - Wave 5
8:20 am - Wave 6
8:24 am - Wave 7
8:28 am - Wave 8
8:32 am - Wave 9
8:36 am - Wave 10
8:40 am - Wave 11
9:30 am - Post Party event begins.
11:30 am - Awards ceremony begins at race site
