Join us for the 2nd Annual Run Kings Island, a family-focused run/walk event with something for everyone. Under new race management*, our mission is to -- promote the benefits of health, families & fitness -- by motivating individuals, both young & old, to get active and have fun! So, come experience Kings Island in a brand new way! * New race management team-Don Connolly & Kelly Weissmann

A portion of Run Kings Island's proceeds will benefit CancerFree Kids and Crayons to Computers. Both are non-profit organizations that work hard to see that our children have a chance at a brighter tomorrow.

Just in time for "back to school": we will be collecting new school supplies for Crayons to Computers. Please bring new supplies to either packet pick up or on race day and place them in one of the Crayons to Computers bins.

Also, run for fun, prizes and a great cause! Earn great prizes when you fundraise for CancerFree Kids.

Raise $50 or more--receive a Fleet Feet Sports Cincinnati gift set, which includes a Headsweats running hat and a pair of performance running socks ($30 value).

Raise $250 or more--receive your choice of the following: either an Adidas miCoach personal training system OR one pair of running shoes (up to $115 value).

Fundraising prizes courtesy of Fleet Feet Sports Cincinnati. All prizes must be redeemed at Fleet Feet Sports Cincinnati, located at 9525 Kenwood Road in Blue Ash.

All 10K/5K registrants will receive a technical shirt (women's sizes available **), a finisher medal, a water bottle and an admission ticket to Kings Island (ticket valid beginning on race day and good any day through 9/6/10).
**Women's sizing is a fitted tech shirt. If in doubt, go one size larger.

All Planet Snoopy Kids Fun Run participants will receive a cotton t-shirt, a finisher medal, a water bottle and an admission ticket to Kings Island (ticket valid beginning 8/15 and valid through 9/6/10.)

Race will be chip-timed. Overall winners based on gun time, age group results based on chip time. All elites must be in the first wave start to be eligible for overall awards. Awards presented to Top 3 in all categories below.

Overall Awards: Men and women in both 10K/5K.

Run Divisions: 14/U, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Racewalk Divisions: Men and women in both 10K/5K. MUST WALK ENTIRE RACE using Olympic racewalk form to be eligible for racewalk awards, which are top 3 overall male and female only. No age groups.

Race day registration available (late fee applies) beginning at 6:00 a.m. at Kings Island Main Entrance. Personal checks NOT accepted on race day; however cash and credit cards (MC & Visa) welcome.

Both the 10K/5K start in the parking lot and travel around Great Wolf Lodge before entering the park for an exciting journey past many Kings Island attractions. As the 5K splits away to finish at International Street, the 10K takes an intense loop outside the park on back roads, including some up-close encounters with some of your favorite coasters! Both races finish under the Eiffel Tower.

Bring the kids to participate in either the Half Mile or the 50 Yard Dash. Both races, for kids ages 10 and under, start and finish at the Eiffel Tower. Amenities included with registration are kids cotton t-shirt, finisher medal, water bottle and Kings Island park admission ticket (valid through 9/6/10). The 50 Yard Dash begins at 9:00 a.m. and the Half Mile begins at 9:10 a.m.

NEW this year-get your results quickly! Quick Time results tent on site at the finish. Print your individual results within 15-20 minutes of your race finish. Awards ceremony only for Overall Run and Racewalk winners will be announced at the Eiffel Tower. Age group run winners may pick up their awards at the results tent after getting their Quick Time results printout.

Enjoy the festivities with your family after the race. Post race refreshments, entertainment, sponsor booths, etc.

All spectators will need an admission ticket to view the finish line; however, viewing of the start line is complimentary. Discounted tickets are available for $25 each online, via mail-in or on race day until 9:00 a.m.
