Stone Steps 50k and 27k Trail Races

Trekkers can start at 7:00 AM
Course closes at 4:00 PM-ish
27k race starts at 8:30 AM

Don't come too early to prioritize the bathroom facilities for the 50k.

Mt. Airy Forest near I-74 and I-75 off of Colerain Avenue.
Start/finish at The Oval (area 13).
Loop course on single track trails.
Hilly course with roots and rocks and occasional tree blow downs.
Mud possible but relatively dry course.
Aid station every 3-5 miles.

50k: $35 by 10-1-10, $40 by 10-20-10 - EVENT IS FILLED!
27k: $30 by 10-20-10

No late or race-day registration.

Saturday, 10/23, 5:30 - 7:30 at Bob Roncker's Running Spot in O'Bryonville.

Cost is $14 / $7 for kids.
Gourmet pasta dinner catered by local runner, Heather Poast.
Early packet pickup and camaraderie at dinner!
Just added - a multi media presentation by David Corfman on his Badwater Ultramarathon experience this year.

50K:
* $100 cash for overall male/female, $100 premium for breaking M/F course records
* Gear Package from The North Face for overall M/F winners
* Ceramic awards: Top three overall male/female; 10 year age groups male/female

27K:
* Pair of trail shoes for overall male/female (one per series)
* Gear Package from The North Face for overall M/F winners
* Ceramic awards: Top three overall male/female; top ten male/female by age-grading.

Ceramic awards are hand-crafted pottery items.
No duplication of overall/age-group awards.

Stone Steps 50k is the finale for the Southwest Ohio 50k Trail Race Series.
