PGRC Beginning Women's Program

Registration is limited to the first 75 women registrants. The cost for this training program is $40. Registrations are non-refundable but transferable between other PGRC programs. PGRC membership is required to participate; become a PGRC member on step 2 of the registration process.

First-timers and veteran women runners who have not been active and want to get back into form. The only requirement for program participation is the willingness to come out to the weekly sessions on Saturdays (at a minimum) and (schedule permitting) to participate in Tuesday night track workouts.

The first Saturday we will meet at 8:00 am at Lake Artemesia parking lot (at the intersection of Berwyn Rd. and Ballew Ave. in Berwyn Heights). We will meet at other nearby locations on Saturday mornings-- the training schedule and locations will be emailed to you.

-Tuesdays 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bowie High School track on Annapolis Road in Bowie.

If you have any major medical condition, such as heart disease or bone or joint problem it would be advisable to consult your personal physician before starting the program. If you get clearance you are welcome to participate.

Participants are required to volunteer at one club event during the program.
