• A shady, picturesque 2-mile course which includes one complete loop of Washington Park.
  
• It will start and end near Washington Park Picnic Shelter on the south side of the park.
  
• A water stop will be available at 1-mile.
  
• The race course is lined with cheering spectators.

This short race open to all boys and girls, toddlers through age 12, and is designed to encourage running. It will follow the 2-mile race and be located immediately south of the Picnic Shelter. Children must register online or complete a paper application and receive written permission from a parent or guardian. T-shirts will be guaranteed for the first 200 children who register and this race is limited to (200) participants.

• This event will be scored by The Springfield Road Runner's Club using the IPICO timing system.
  
• All runners must wear their timing tag to be scored.
