James E. McNellie's Pub Run

James E. McNellie's Public House and Fleet Feet Sports of Tulsa are pleased to present the "James E. McNellie's Pub Run," a race for runners and beer aficionados alike. The rolling 4-mile course will start and finish downtown at McNellie's Pub and wind through the historic Brady and Blue Dome Districts. But the party doesn't end there.

The race will be followed up by refreshments and entertainment.

The 4-mile race will be timed with the D-Tag timing system. Follow instructions provided with your timing device.

A special category for those walkers and runners who would like to drink their beer before the race is over! Guinness Challenge participants will have to FINISH three 12 ounce Guinness pints during the 4 mile run; one at each water stop and one at the finish line.

Male and female Guinness Challenge winners will win $300 (1st place), $150 (2nd place), and $50 (3rd place) house accounts at McNellie's Pub.

Saturday afternoon November 13, 2010

3:00 PM: 4 mile race
3:10 PM: 1-mile fun run

The start of the Pub Run will be in front of Fleet Feet Sports Blue Dome at 2nd and Frankfort and will in front of McNellie's Pub at the corner of 1st Street and Elgin Avenue.

All entries will receive a long sleeve cotton shirt. Great awards for overall male and female winners, standard age group winners, and male and female Guinness Challenge winners.

In person registration will also be available at both Fleet Feet Sports locations in Tulsa (2nd and Frankfort and 61st and Yale).

Race Day: packet pickup begins at 1:00 PM at Fleet Feet Sports Blue Dome, 2nd and Frankfort.
