Sharlene Deskins is an RRCA-certified running coach and has coached marathon runners for the past several years. She has been running marathons for ten years.
Cindy Cohen is an RRCA-certified running coach and the current president of the PGRC. She has completed 7 marathons and one 50k, as well as numerous shorter distance races of 400m to half-marathon. She enjoys a wide variety of running and cross training workouts including long runs with PGRC friends, trail running, hill workouts, interval training, run-commuting to work, yoga, weight training, and cycling. Her goals for the marathon training program are to keep you motivated over the winter, provide a fun training group and structured workouts, and to help you set and achieve realistic goals.
Dave Ferris is a 51 year old avid and experienced long distance runner. Dave typically logs 50+ miles per week, longer when he's training for a race. Dave coordinates the PGRC Sunday long run and he recently completed his first 50k ultra-marathon. People sometimes refer to Dave as "Mr. Enthusiasm" when it comes to running & it's easy to see why. He'll do just about anything in order to run with other runners at any experience level.
