How the West Was Run

Join the biggest and the best celebration of the Old West this side of the Tarrant County Line. In the morning, get up early and take part in "How the West Was Run" 5K, 10K and Fun Run. Then, head on over to Bear Creek Park for plenty of entertainment for all ages including the popular Children's Stick Horse Rodeo, arts and craft vendors, childrens games and activities, main stage entertainment, a food court, tractor pulls, and much more.

Schedule:
6:30 - 8:00 AM: Race-day registration, Check-In and Chip Pick-Up
8:00 AM: 1-mile fun run start
8:15 AM: 10k start (USATF Certified)
8:30 AM: 5k start (USATF Certified)
10:00 AM: Awards Ceremony & Prizes

Packet Pick-up:
September 24th - 25th, from 5:00 AM - 9:00 PM
September 26th, from 6:30 - 8:00 AM

Proceeds Benefit:
This year all proceeds will benefit The Keller Pointe Scholarship Program created to help individuals and families in our community who require financial assistance.

School Challenge:
Help your school win the "Community Spirit Trophy" plus a Pool Party at The Keller Pointe! The school with the highest number of students, teachers, parents, faculty and/or staff who register for the race will win. You must register by September 19th to be eligible.
