Fire Fighter 5K/10K

The Fire Fighter 5K/10K will be a benefit fun run presented by the McKinney Fire Fighters Association of McKinney, Texas. The event will benefit the McKinney Boys and Girls Club. Post-race events will include display and demo's of Fire Trucks and their equipment. This will be a wonderful event, fun for all with a great opportunity to benefit a wonderful charitiy.

6:00 - 7:20 AM: Race Day Registration
7:30 AM: Race Start
8:30 AM: 1K Fun Run

Mostly flat, North on Alma, past Cooper Life and the TPC , and future Times Square at Craig Ranch. The 10K course will also take you through The Settlement, a beautiful residential area which runs along the finishing holes at the TPC at Craig Ranch. Both courses start and finish at The Ballfields at Craig Ranch.

This event is USATF Sanctioned and Course Certified.

Age groups: By 5 year increments

• Top 3 overall male and female, 5K & 10K
  
• Top 3 male and female in each age group, 5K & 10K
  
• Top 3 Finishers in Wheelchair division, 5K & 10K
  
• Top 3 Finishers in Powerhouse (200 lb.+) division, 5K only
  
• Participation Medals for all Child 1K Fun Runners
  

The Fire Fighter Team Award, will be presented to the team with the best "cumulative time" of all four runners.

Awards will be presented on race morning.
