Race Against Racism

The race starts and ends at Musser Park located at East Chestnut and North Lime Streets in downtown Lancaster.

7:00 - 8:30 AM: Check in, pick up your timing chip
8:30 AM: Alcoa Kids' Fun Run
9:00 AM: YWCA Race Against Racism

Humanity Fest food and craft vendors will be in Musser Park throughout the morning.

The 5K / 3.1 mile course is an out-back-loop with splits at the one and two mile marks. Water available before the 2-mile mark.

For the safety of all participants, no bikes, scooters, in-line skates, headphones or animals (except those that aid the handicapped) are permitted on the race course.

Pick up your race packet, which includes your t-shirt and lots of goodies, in advance at the YWCA:

Thursday, April 23, 4:00 -7:00 PM
Friday, April 24, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Packets will also be available race day from 7:00 - 8:30 AM.
(in front of the YWCA)

Winners will be determined from electronic timing chips worn by each participant.

• First place: $500
  
• Second place: $250
  
• Third place: $100
  
• Fourth place: $75
  
• Fifth place: $50
  
• A $100 bonus will be awarded to the first female and male finisher from the Susquehanna Valley (Adams, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, or York counties).
  
• A $100 bonus will be awarded to the top female and male Masters (over age 40).
  
• Age division winners will also be awarded. Age groups are: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+.
  
• Trophies will be awarded to the girl and boy winners of the Alcoa Kids' Fun Run.
