The relatively flat, 3.1 mile shaded, course begins and ends at the Mary Ann Mongan Library, 502 Scott Blvd. in Covington, and goes through historic Covington and by the river. A map is available online at www.kentonlibrary.org. Roads open to traffic at 10:15 a.m. For participant safety, pets are not permitted at the event.

Net proceeds from registrations and sponsor funding benefit the Kenton County Public Library Foundation's award-winning Read Racer pre-school literacy initiative, which delivers books, reading materials, recordings and programs to over 2,500 preschool children in Kenton County daycares, preschools, and Head Start centers each month.
