USAT Sanctioned Event |
USAT Membership is required for this event. The Kids Triathlon is a sanctioned event. An annual youth membership in USA Triathlon ($5) is required for participation. Forms also available at Packet Pickup on April 25th.

Ages 6, 7 and 8:
Swim 50 yards - Bike 1.5 miles - Run 1/4 Mile
Ages 9, 10, and 11:
Swim 100 yards - Bike 1.5 miles - Run 1/2 Mile
Ages 12, 13 and 14:
Swim 200 yards - Bike 3 miles - Run 1 Mile

Packet Pick Up and Orientation Meeting |
At Common Ground Recreation Center:
Saturday, April 25th, 2009, from 3:00 - 6:00 PM
Sunday, April 26th, 2009, (race day) 8:00 - 9:00 AM
Important Note: Please make every effort to pick up your packet on Saturday at Common Ground.
Mandatory Orientation Meeting:
All participants MUST attend a pre-race orientation with a parent or guardian. These will be held at 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM & 5:00 PM Saturday and 9:30 AM on race morning.

Awards |
(1) Grand Prize Winner:
VIP Family Weekend Getaway to Des Moines for the Hy-Vee Triathlon including two (2) nights lodging, $100 meal vouchers and Adventureland tickets. (1) Grand Prize Winner will be a drawing from the top finisher in each age group (male & female.)
Runner-up Prizes:
Awards for the top 5 finishers in each age group, both Male and Female, will be given out at the completion of the entire race.
iPods, Bicycles and Hy-Vee Gift Cards!
Every participant receives a medal and t-shirt! Each participant will receive their medal at the Finish Line.
