Ride Cincinnati |
Ride Cincinnati, a 501(c) 3 organization, is holding its third annual cycling event to raise funds for breast cancer research. It is a non-competitive ride, open to participants at all levels of skill.
Ride Cincinnati was founded by Dr. Harvey Harris, Ronald Stern and Craig Cowit, three Cincinnatians whose families have been touched by breast cancer. This event is dedicated to the life of Marlene Harris and all others who have, and continue to be, affected by this terrible disease.

All proceeds from Ride Cincinnati will benefit the UC Barrett Cancer Center at the University of Cincinnati. The mission of the UC Barrett Cancer Center is to transform cancer care in our region by providing the most advanced and compassionate patient care built on a foundation of innovative research and education.
The UC Barrett Cancer Center is working to become the preeminent cancer care resource delivering the highest quality patient and family-centered care in a collaborative environment firmly based in a competitive research enterprise with an emphasis on education and community outreach.

Ride Cincinnati Routes |
Cyclists and families may choose to ride in any of the following routes as they ride for breast cancer research. All routes start and finish on the Cincinnati ramp of the Purple People Bridge, near Yeatman's Cove.
Distances of 8.2, 18.4, 26, 45.2 and 62.8 miles route from Yeatman's Cove, over the Purple People Bridge into Newport, KY on Route 8 East, through Bellevue, KY and back.

Kids Bike Rally |
The Kids Bike Rally will travel 1 mile through Sawyer Point.
*Parent or Guardian required to attend with all participants under 18 years of age.

Route Support |
There will be various levels of support on the route, including refreshment stops, portable restrooms, medical personnel, a bike repair van, route monitors, mile markers and a clock at the finish line. ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR A HELMET.
*Remember, this is a ride, not a competitive race.

Directions |
From I-71 South: Exit at Third Street. Go straight three blocks past Broadway and turn left at Walnut, then left on Second Street. Follow signs to Pete Rose Way, (stay right, go down the ramp) and turn left on Pete Rose Way at US Bank Arena.
From I-471 North: Take Fort Washington Way (US Rt. 50) westbound, and exit at Third Street. Turn left at Broadway and left again at Pete Rose Way.
From I-71/75 North (Kentucky) or I-75 South: Exit at Second Street. Follow signs to Pete Rose Way and turn left on Pete Rose Way at US Bank Arena.

Parking |
Parking is available at a municipal fee lot on Pete Rose Way at Eggleston. There are also parking garages on Pete Rose Way at Mehring Way next to US Bank Arena and at Great American Ballpark. There may be a Cincinnati Reds Game Sunday afternoon. Please be advised that some parking locations may be reserved for season ticket holders.
There are several private fee lots along Pete Rose Way between Eggleston and Broadway. Free parking may be available at the Public Landing on Mehring Way, depending on Showboat Majestic and US Bank Arena event schedules.
Parking is also available for a fee at Newport on the Levee, from which Yeatman's Cove is accessible via the Purple People Bridge.
Please use caution crossing over the bridge to Cincinnati, as other rides may already be in progess.
