~ New Race Courses for 5k & 10k runs - both races run through the heart of downtown.

~ 5k starts at Backus Community Center and runs downtown back to Rainy River Community College - (transportation from RRCC to Backus Community Center available if needed).

~ 10k starts and finishes at RRCC

Awards: 5K and 10K:
Awards for Top Overall Male and Female.
Awards given for (7) Age Categories.
Ceremony to begin immediately following the event.

All runners registered before race day (January 17, 2009) will be entered in a drawing to win two (2) entries to Grandma's - Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon Race.

Boxed lunches available to everyone immediately following each race
(minimal fee, see registration form) - we hope this will encourage you and family/friends to stay for the Awards Ceremonies.

~ Please join us for fruit, coffee, All-Sport, and pop, which is served after each race.
~ Also, a special 'Runners Reception' will be held Saturday evening.
~ This includes: Video of the day's race, appetizers, pop, beer and wine (for registered runners only).
