Nuba Water Project

Help us build water projects in the Nuba Mountain region of central Sudan so the people have access to clean water. Founded by two Sudanese refugees now living in the United States and a Denver businessman, Nuba Water Project is bringing "water and life" to the people of Sudan. The Project raises funds to construct water infrastructure, such as wells and irrigation systems, that are in desperately short supply throughout Sudan, and especially in the Nuba Mountains. Nuba Water Project is a 501c3 charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible.

Center for Refugee Guidance and Assistance

The Center for Refugee Guidance and Assistance's main goal is to aide African refugee families living in the United States. The majority of the families who find themselves in the U.S. have been forcefully removed from their home countries in Africa as a direct result of the genocide that is occurring in Sudan. Some families are from Darfur, some from Nuba Mountains and some from other regions of Sudan. Our refugee friends come to America with no knowledge of our customs, lifestyles and every day habits. Many of them have never even seen an inside restroom facility. They have no knowledge of monetary management. Many have never lived in a 'house'. They do not speak English and have never worked at a job. They need help. The State of Colorado gives 8 months of aide to these families. After that, they are expected to live on their own. Our goal is for that 8 month mark to be expanded by as much as possible, so that they are living as they should be...being educated and feeling strong and confident as US citizens.
