About the Program |
Colorado Kids Marathon Milers is a fun, incentive-based program for youth enrolled in elementary school that is designed to encourage running and walking as way to improve fitness and adopt a healthy lifestyle. It culminates in a one-mile fun-run as part of the Post-News Colorado Colfax Marathon. Any youth enrolled in elementary school during the 2007-08 academic year may participate, regardless of where they reside. All kids are welcomed regardless of fitness level or ability or disability.
