WHAT IS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY WOMEN BUILD? |

The Women Build gathers women in the community to raise funds to build an energy efficient home for a family in need of affordable home ownership. Home ownership will allow the household to help themselves build a future of strength, stability and independence. The goal of the Women Build is NOT meant to exclude men, but to include women who may not feel comfortable volunteering at a male-dominated construction site. This project also serves to highlight and honor the talented and hard-working women that work in construction trades. There are many other ways to participate throughout the year. Please contact Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity to obtain more information.
