The "Back the Badge" Trail 5KRun and Fun Walk hosted by the KCCLEAAA is proud to raise funds to help further fund the Law Enforcement Offices for Kendall County Sheriff's Office, Boerne PD, and Fair Oaks Pd.

The purpose of the “Back the Badge” Trail 5KRun is to raise funds to assist Kendall County LEO can participate in Extra Training and Education events that might not be possible within their Agencies budget. Kendall County Citizens Law Enforcement Academy Alumni Association is proud to further assist the Kendall County Law Enforcement Offices of the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, Boerne PD, and Fair Oaks Pd in the Blue Santa Program, Refuse to be a Victim Seminar and other Civic duties, such as crowd control for Kendall area Parades.

6:00 a.m. Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-up

Off of Hwy 46 E you will Enter on City Park Rd, Park and Register at the Kendall County Fairgrounds.
(*NOTE: This is a One Way (in) Road. Exiting will be back through the S.C. High School – Charger Blvd.)
Our 3rd Back the Badge Trail 5K Run will begin in the Fairgrounds then travel out and down by Sam Champion High School then over into our beautiful Cibolo Nature Center Trails, which has the Cibolo River running through it.
***The trails are wide and fairly smooth and please keep this in mind if you are bringing your children in a stroller.

With the help of our many Supporting Sponsors, we are honored to host this 3rd Back the Badge Trail 5K event in the beautiful town of Boerne. Come enjoy a nature trail, sounds of the birds and stream while you support Kendall County LEO. After the Race, light refreshments will be available to you while we prepare for the Awards. Then you have an opportunity to make your way into downtown Boerne and stroll the Hill County Mile while visiting our old town charm with some pretty swanky shops and eateries! There are even a couple of breweries along the way to quench that 5K thirst!
