The Plainview Pool Board and Plainview Library Foundation are hosting a Triathlon to raise funds for the pool and library. That’s right, this year you can enter an event of which you can swim, bike, and run in one race. You can enter the individual race and swim, bike, and run the 5K distance, otherwise do this with 2 other people, combination of 3, and each one does an event: one swims, one bikes, and one runs a total of 5K, so approximately 1 mile each. Wear appropriate clothing and bring a bike. Kids in grades, Kindergarten and above can enter, as long as the kids are under 18, they receive parent permission. Receive a t-shirt and sunglasses with the registration fee.
