The Turkey Trot has become a Thanksgiving tradition. Because of the Turkey Trot many people and families have been helped. Come out Thanksgiving Day and help needy families by walking or running in this annual event. Sandy and I hope to see you again this year at the fairgrounds.

Place: Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, Iowa
Races: Five mile and Two mile run: Two mile walk

Awards: Pumpkin pies; 1-3 in all age groups
Medals 1-30 in all age groups
Age groups: 13-under 14-18 19-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 70-79 80 over

T- shirts: Long sleeve Turkey Trot T shirts if you register before the 16th. Shirt not guaranteed on race day.

Proceeds: Helping needy families or people in need.
