The purpose of “RISE UP to fight addiction” is to increase awareness of the devastating effects Drugs, Alcohol, Gambling and Pornography addictions are having on Families and our community. To create an opportunity for people of all faiths to join together in prayer to push back the darkness and ask God for His blessings. The proceeds from this event will go toward purchasing a Drug Detecting Dog for the Hopewell Police Dept.

All walkers and runners will receive an event wrist band

Master male, Master Female awards given.
Overall awards for each age group combining the male and female.

[*]Course will be run on sidewalks with the first 2 miles through a quite residential area and the last 1.3 following along a more traveled 4 lane 45mph roadway.[*]Police will assist at major crossings.[*]Course includes 1 steep incline about 1/3 mile from the start line and one moderate incline about 1 mile from finish.[*]Free Shuttle service from Wildwood will begin at 9:00am
