A very first of it's kind, race in front of the Harrison County Parade!

That's right, we will start directly in front of the entire Harrison County Fair parade. Giving you the limelight and crowd of a big race, the audience will line the course as you sprint down the hills. If you ever wanted to beat your mile time, now is the chance!

Want a free shot at your old mile PR? We won't tell them that this is almost all downhill! Expect your time to be up to 30 seconds faster as you cruise a net 100 foot drop over the course of a mile. Finish on the famous horse track and in front of the fans. Even if you cannot run a 5K, a downhill mile should be inviting to even the most timid. Family friendly and fun for all!

Awards will be given at or near the time of finish to clear the way for the parade. Giveaways with gift cards to event sponsors, including Road ID, and other various

- Packet pickup will be at the Sorth End of the Harrison County Fairgrounds. Look for the orange Carpe Vita tents for registration at the South End.
- Packet pickup time 3:30PM - 5:15PM
- Keep in mind this race starts up the hill, so if you show up at 5:15, you will be late!

Timing with IPCIO RFID technology will be used to ensure accuracy and speed of results.

Start: Near the top of the bridge on Capitol Ave (SR 337) north of downtown Corydon and slightly down the high from the YMCA.

Route: From the bridge, the race will run south straight into downtown Corydon along the parade route. Going over a second bridge in front of fairgrounds, the race will go immediately into around the fairgrounds track.

Finish: Around the horse track near the grandstands.
