Heroes of Midlothian Foundation would like to invite you to the Fifth Annual Heroes of Midlothian 5K Benefit Run on Saturday, May 2th 2017. All proceeds will support the Foundation's mission to assist the families of local heroes, and to establish a Memorial Scholarship Fund. Since our formation, we have helped multiple families in and around Midlothian. We hope you enjoy the challenging course we have set and improve on your personal best.

Short sleeved T-Shirts will be included with registered racers. You can register day of race but no guarantee on T-Shirt size. Packet Pick up will be held at Citizens Bank (Downtown) on May 18th & 19th from 3pm-7pm. For non-racers, t-shirts will available for sale day of race for $15 and Tech Shirts for $20.

Parking will be at MISD Multi-Purpose Stadium, 1800 S. 14th Street (at the corner of 14th Street and Hwy 287 Bypass). Follow signage to parking.

The route will begin at the softball complex/MISD stadium area on 14th street and travel to the access road of the Highway 287 bypass, will cross Midlothian Parkway, travel to Mt. Zion, cross over Highway 287 bypass and continue back on 14th street to finish at the starting point at the softball complex/MISD stadium

In the event of inclement weather, your contribution is considered a donation and we thank you for your support.

Awards will be given to the top male and female runners in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each of the following age groups:

9 and under 10 yr old
11 yr old 12 yr old
13 yr old 14 to 19
20 to 29 30 to 34
35 to 39 40 to 44
45 to 49 50 to 54
55 to 59 60 to 64
65 to 69 70 and up


A 1st place overall for male and female will also be awarded.

We use disposable tags for our timing, which will be attached to runners' bibs. Runner must have tag to be timed and eligible for awards

7:00 am - Check in at MISD Stadium
8:00 am - Ceremonial Tribute, Prayer, Pledge & National Anthem
8:30 am - 5K Race Begins
9:30am - Scholarship Presentations
9:45 am - Awards Ceremony
