Spring Scrabble Social Ride

A fundraising event benefitting the Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities

Do you like a good old fashioned adventure?

If you would like to be part of an interesting, eclectic group who will be biking a predetermined route with amazing stops while raising money for a great local charity, this event is for you!

Riders will receive a shirt, goodie basket, waters along the way and discounts at the various sponsor stops. Prizes will be awarded at the after-party beginning at 4pm at Happy Joe's.

Registration/Packet Pick-Up: 10:30-12 @ Happy Joe's PizzaGrille at The Mills At Riverbend Commons

At registration/packet pick-up (Saturday 10-12) participants will receive an official Spring Scrabble t-shirt with a Scrabble board printed on the back. Note: Some letters will be missing from the grid. A limited number of shirts will be available at packet pick-up and when they run out, individual game sheets will be given to riders.

At 12 noon the rider will embark on his or her trek to the locations listed on the route. The rider may stop at as many or as few of the locations listed. When arriving at a destination feel free to purchase a refreshment and ask for a stamp on the back of your official shirt. Everyone is welcome at each of the stops - child or adult. Each location will have an official stamp which will help you to complete the missing Scrabble letters on the shirt. If you stop at at least 3 locations and get 3 stamps you will be awarded one entry to win a prize at the after-party at Joe's PizzaGrill following the ride. When you complete the route or when it gets near 3pm head back to Joe's Grill, check in and we will enter your name for prizes. Prizes will be awarded at 3:30 and a cash buffet will be available at the after-party!

Remember, this is NOT a race! Go to as many or as few of the stops along the route as you like and return by 3pm for the fantastic after-party.

Remember, The real winner of the day will be The Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities. All money raised from the event will used to provide therapy services to local children with physical disabilities!
