Who am I helping at the Child Advocates Superhero Run? |
You are helping children in Marion county who've been abused or neglected. Child Advocates' speaks up for children by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child's safety, a judge appoints a trained CASA volunteer to make independent and informed recommendations in the child's best interest.
Every Child Needs a Hero, but Abused Children Need Superheroes.

About Child Advocates |
Child Advocates is the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) chosen by the courts in Marion County (Indianapolis), Indiana to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children. We fulfill our mission through advocacy, monitoring, evaluation, fact-finding and mediation. Volunteers assist staff professionals in each child's case to make sure those children do not get lost in the system, that their needs are met during the course of their court cases, and that a safe, permanent home is found for them as soon as possible.
Mission: Child Advocates engages community volunteers and staff to protect children who are victims of child abuse. We are their voices in court, ensuring all children thrive in a safe and secure home.
