Filling a glaring gap in local Celtic athletic competition, we proudly offer the Delaware Valley's only "0.0 K Race" -- join a mighty field of veteran competitors in this year's premier Celtic event!

The "No Pain, All Gain" concept brings the supportive friends and family who encourage you to run, together with the actual participants. These are the folks who can be heard saying things like: "You're crazy", " What? "Me?? Run???", "I couldn't drive that far", "You'll never catch me in a kilt!", or most distressingly "The Irish don't wear kilts." (Ed. Note - False: Real Celts wear kilts.) In the end (and it's all about getting done quickly) comes the best part of the race … the Finish line!

How does it work?
After the runners (the crazy ones) take off on their 6K or 1.916K Walk, the 0.0 Warriors cozy up to the Start Line. They get their own starting line ceremony, the horn goes off, and they head directly to the Celtic Warrior Garden, in a more-or-less-straight-bee-line-dead-shuffle. This allows the whole crowd the opportunity to cheer you on, the reward for all those years of training to perfect an efficient refrigerator run.

What do you get for registering?
You get a commemorative display card, custom race bib, professional timing (up to one second!), a Race shirt, Finisher medal, Beverage, Celtic Steak Roll, the Fall Fest entry, music, camaraderie, fellowship … and the satisfaction of knowing you did absolutely nothing to earn it!
Who can participate?
Adults 21 and older. We will check ID's.

Who does the 0.0 Race benefit?
First, it benefits those Celtic Warriors who Register, because they get all the bling, plus, the adulation showered only upon elite athletes (not to mention the pride that comes with being among the Best of the Best!) More importantly, a portion of every Registration fee goes to providing education support through both scholarships and direct grants for education. It's an easy way to get "Licensed To Kilt" without breaking a sweat (or worse yet, tweaking a long-forgotten muscle!)
