You and your family are invited to join our cause as we promote Y Partners, healthy living, and family values at the Ankeny Family Road Race. This will be a fun-filled community event featuring 8K & 5K runs, a 1 mile run/walk, and 50 & 25 yard dashes; there is sure to be a fun run for everyone in your family.

* Chip timing for the 5K and 8K races
* Kona Ice (snow cones)
* Watermelon

Child Care is provided for children 6 weeks - 8 yrs of age, whose parents are running in the race. Reservations are required prior to the day of the event. To reserve your child's spot, please use the "Contact the Organizers" button on the upper left side of your screen. Space is limited so sign up fast.

25 and 50 yard dash - participation ribbon
1 mile youth - 1st place overall male/female
5K - 1st, 2nd place for male/female in each age bracket
8K - 1st, 2nd place for male/female in each age bracket

Our Annual Support Campaign enables the YMCA to offer memberships and programs to individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford to participate. Strengthening our community is our cause through promoting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
